Discover the contemporary work of Robert BASS

Since my childhood, painting has always fascinated me. My studies have led me to be a teacher of mathematics ...! Despite this, I could reconcile this discipline with art since I taught my students perspective, fractals and the Escher’s works. I did not go to art schools but I improved during the 14 years of lessons in the Berengere Bekkaoui’s studio Since I have my own studio, I paint in acrylic, using only silicone tools. The canvas is the page that allows me to tell a story that visitors can complete according to their imagination. Many exhibitions in Paris (Art en Capital) in the Val d'Oise (Various exhibitions) and in Normandy. Five awards in the past two years in various exhibitions.

Sur la toile, je raconte une histoire, je crée une atmosphère. De nombreuses traces de couleurs se superposent. Cette touche originale est devenue ma signature. Le figuratif joue ainsi avec l’abstraction. Les formes sont estompées, les lointains sont dissous, la lumière transperce les ombres. Le monde qui nous entoure devient irréel, il nous permet de rêver.. De nombreuses expositions individuelles et collectives, comme à Paris (Art en Capital, les Artistes Français).
