Mixed media includes all works of art that incorporate a variety of materials and components in a single piece. Mixed media art is a work of art that combines acrylic paint with fabric and paper. Scrapbooking, sketchbooks, decoupage, greeting card design, and mixed media art journals are just a few examples of projects in which mixed media can be used. This artistic style dates back to the cubist creations of Pablo Picasso from 1912 to 1914, the root of the term itself, in its aesthetic sense, goes back to the artist Jean Dubuffet in the 1950s.

Description
Creation from a series entitled Brut.e.s Acrylic, pastel, pencil on Canson paper, grape format (50x65cm) This painting, like all those in the Brut.e.s series, is initially the result of a violent impulse of expression as a bulwark against madness. In hindsight, they seem interesting to me in order to try to transmit and make people understand the experience of borderline disorder and bipolarity. The names of the paintings in this series are all musical names, which provide additional understanding of the painting.
