I find nature as an inspiring source of creation in a process of exclusive use of inert and local plant resources, for the creation of a fantasy animal world with shades of reality.
The prickly pear, also known as nopal or shovel fig, becomes the natural canvas. This dried material is transformed into a sculptural palette, allowing the forms to come to life in a low environmental impact process. Eucalyptus, carob, orange and palm trees accompany the prickly pear in the creation of the pieces.
