A curator from Creative Concept Inc. explained that my pictures seem almost too modest and only on closer inspection do they shine and create a dreamy vision in the viewer that resonates with the viewer for a long time. My style is both contemporary and classic and I have developed a very personal style that is completely different from other realistic painters, but which nevertheless has its place in the art scene and also seems familiar.

According to the viewer, you are sucked into the picture, you stand there and are fascinated by the colors and the depth, the details.

I started with velvet paintings in 2006. Since the velvet is "alive", you have to work very precisely. The color has to be worked into the velvet. You also have to take into account that the color is absorbed by the velvet. This technique is very rare because it is very complex and demanding.

My artist name goes back to a short marriage with an Egyptian man and since the name also invites you to dream, I found it suitable as an artist name and kept it.

I love painting with oil paint because it is so smooth and I can work in layers. This gives the pictures this three-dimensional effect. I don't do any preliminary drawings, I've noticed that this hinders my creativity. So I start painting straight away.

I love strong colors and beautiful pictures and because I love my life with all its ups and downs, I paint beautiful pictures to express my positive attitude that there is always a door that opens. I believe in that!

I love painting realistically, but not becoming photorealistic, so not just copying a photo but bringing in my own interpretation. I want people to hear the horses' hooves on the ground, smell the wet wood of the forests or taste the salt water of the sea on their lips. If the viewer stands in front of the pictures and forgets the time, then I have achieved my goal.

Riding is my passion. This is also reflected in my horse pictures. Many people say that my pictures are so real that you have to keep looking to see if the animals are actually moving.

The eyes are my specialty, they breathe soul into the animal in the picture.
