Figures en tension

Set of polyptych paintings that represent figurative and deformed figures, mixing abstract shapes, placed on a Prussian blue background. These characters float in space and embody various themes such as sport: football, bodybuilding, gymnastics, a UFO pilot. At the same time, the singer embodies an artistic approach. The fingers of the characters, inspired by Yves Laloy, can evoke a lateral vision of the thumb or a destabilizing representation that can recall human anatomy. The abstract elements, made up of geometric shapes, are enriched by color gradients and textures. Made from mixed techniques, in particular with bubble wrap applied to create patterns or reliefs, these patterns play with the material. The mixture of characters and abstract shapes generates a tension, marked between imbalance and conflicting dialogue.
