Mixed media includes all works of art that incorporate a variety of materials and components in a single piece. Mixed media art is a work of art that combines acrylic paint with fabric and paper. Scrapbooking, sketchbooks, decoupage, greeting card design, and mixed media art journals are just a few examples of projects in which mixed media can be used. This artistic style dates back to the cubist creations of Pablo Picasso from 1912 to 1914, the root of the term itself, in its aesthetic sense, goes back to the artist Jean Dubuffet in the 1950s.

Description
I created this pendant light for someone close to me. This person had a cathedral ceiling in their living room, which provided a dramatic backdrop for such a room. I started thinking about how I could adapt my design to complement her unique living room space. We spent time discussing the details of the project, exchanging ideas on what fabrics to use and appropriate dimensions. Eventually, we found a concept that we both liked. I got to work, putting all my passion and creativity into creating this new light fixture. Every step of the process was an exploration, a chance to bring an idea to life. A few weeks later, I was able to install the light fixture, the result was magnificent. The light blended perfectly with the impressive architecture of his living room, creating an ambiance that was both majestic and warm.
