This artistic style dates back to the cubist creations of Pablo Picasso from 1912 to 1914, the root of the term itself, in its aesthetic sense, goes back to the artist Jean Dubuffet in the 1950s.

Le visage est centré, la figure nous regarde, elle est seule sur la toile, le flou ambiant limite la perspective et force l’observateur à revenir poser son regard sur les yeux du portrait.
La couronne occupe une place importante dans la toile, elle semble imbriquée au crâne de la figure.
La figure revêt un habit religieux et porte La Croix discrètement fondue dans le fond de la toile.
