He was born in Cumaná, but his eyes saw the light for the first time in Mochima State Sucre, Venezuela; He studied at the School of Plastic Arts in Cumana and then at the Cristóbal Rojas School of Visual Arts in Caracas; He studies Graphic Design and works as a creative director, carrying out various advertising campaigns, product launches as well as as a corporate image.
His painting is the result of a careful investigation of the characters of his region, the customs and traditions; He reflects his restless wandering from one city to another, his constant alternation with so many different cultures (America, the Caribbean, Europe and Africa).
As if he wanted to leave a record of the paths traveled in that bustle, he discovers the cities and characters through something that identifies them, which can be an important object or the most unusual and banal one, which in its hands acquires an unexpected relevance when it becomes art.
We observe in his work as if an introspective examination had led him to be authentic, to decide on a painting of unique simplicity, of a strong color that never finds enough space and overflows from the frame that is part of the work, and In this framework the inspiration continues, this time that of the poet, who appears to explain in simple words why of what is captured, what it represents, what any sometimes insignificant detail communicates, and that only the eye of a diligent artist perceives, captures and transforms into the center of a work.
It is always in a constant investigation and search for materials and textures. Another mark of originality are the stamps, the large ones refer to the theme performed, the small ones sign the work. His works are present in private collections and galleries in Venezuela, France, Spain, USA, Holland, Aruba, Germany among others.
We have observed that in his paintings he captures the color, the strength of the Caribbean and that poetic realism that one normally attributes to Latin American aesthetics. Currently his work is exhibited in the MEAN HALL EXIBITION exhibition at the European Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona-Spain.

In my work I try to express all the magic, rhythm and essence of the Caribbean through color.
