Mixed media includes all works of art that incorporate a variety of materials and components in a single piece. Mixed media art is a work of art that combines acrylic paint with fabric and paper. Scrapbooking, sketchbooks, decoupage, greeting card design, and mixed media art journals are just a few examples of projects in which mixed media can be used. This artistic style dates back to the cubist creations of Pablo Picasso from 1912 to 1914, the root of the term itself, in its aesthetic sense, goes back to the artist Jean Dubuffet in the 1950s.

Description
Through a game of juxtaposition of figure and shapes, a nameless being emerges who calls out. Only the figurative reminder of the presence and existence of the subject dominates the canvas. The reader is thus caught by a fleeting expression, an outline, a shadow. The face comes alive through the perception of the other who absorbs the features, colors and lights. The pattern in its code, it is identical, and yet so different. The portraits are fragmented. How to reconcile a figure and an abstract painting, how to superimpose visual languages? This is the challenge of this artist’s creation.
