Cette sculpture en acier laqué blanc de quatre mètres de haut est scellée sur la culée ouest du pont enjambant l’A16 à hauteur de Wacqinghen.
"Saut de haies" constitue l’entrée sud des « Jeux de notre temps » près de Boulogne-sur-Mer. Cet ensemble de 9 sculptures évoque les sports de plein air pratiqués sur la côte d'opale. Il est conçu comme une annonce à l'adresse des visiteurs venus de l’Angleterre, de la Belgique, des Pays-Bas...
