De l'union de Buinaima et de Nonnallapiriza (le Dieu de la Terre et la Femme de l'Aube) est né l'arbre de l'abondance, dont la racine est le manioc mûr avec lequel on produit le casabe (pain de manioc). La veille d'une fête traditionnelle, les femmes se réunissent à l'intérieur de la maloca, où elles extraient la pâte de manioc et la préparent pour faire du casabe en abondance, l'aliment principal des ethnies huitoto, bora et ocaina. Cette tradition a été transmise par les anciens afin que l'on ne souffre plus de la faim. De nos jours, on prépare quotidiennement du casabe dans tous les foyers.
