All paintings can't have the same level of quality. This for the wrong image framing, the wrong size of the chassis or the use of colors that ultimately don't give the desired harmony. This painting, I must say, indicates for me the direction to which I wish to advance. The right size, the harmonious position of the subject, the balance of colors, a thorough reflection of the forms, which in the end give a perfect unity where everything is in its place, creating the illusion of a cohesive atmosphere! These last chrysanthemums with curved petals are firmly seated in the atmosphere of the painting. The contrast of colors is striking which captivates the eye. Nevertheless the burning of the painting doesn't come from these flowers, but from the tablecloth, which blinds the spectator, like a fire of Bengal.
