Description
I created this work after having flashes of a rape hidden from my mind. It represents how I "built" myself, the environment is phosphorescent to shine even in the dark even when we ignore it, it represents the soul. The threads are sewn in any way to hold the two ends together, to heal a wound (metaphor). The woman has no eyes because she looks with her heart (represented several times), also symbolizes the loss of memory, and the biased vision of life that the auyres do not have. The torn paper on his chest represents his heart in tatters. The text says: "I'm crying and you're laughing.I'm drunk and you're cumming. I wish for death and you for life.I'm loose and you're building The flashes are there, I suffered too much.I wanted love but at what cost? You talk too much but I write. You won't say it, you raped me...I'm not talking about color but about facts.I could forgive but I have to accept it."
