Mixed media includes all works of art that incorporate a variety of materials and components in a single piece. Mixed media art is a work of art that combines acrylic paint with fabric and paper. Scrapbooking, sketchbooks, decoupage, greeting card design, and mixed media art journals are just a few examples of projects in which mixed media can be used. This artistic style dates back to the cubist creations of Pablo Picasso from 1912 to 1914, the root of the term itself, in its aesthetic sense, goes back to the artist Jean Dubuffet in the 1950s.

Intaglio in 10 copies.
The living feeds the living. The artificial breaks and rusts. On a copper plate, I engraved in burnished aquatint and etching a swarm of diverse animals. They fill the entire page, interlocking like Escher's paving stones.
Not a human in sight. Only immaculate birds, dark abyssal fish, and silhouettes of discreet mammals. An ode to Life, printed on Hahnemühle paper with black Charbonnel inks.
