Mixed media includes all works of art that incorporate a variety of materials and components in a single piece. Mixed media art is a work of art that combines acrylic paint with fabric and paper. Scrapbooking, sketchbooks, decoupage, greeting card design, and mixed media art journals are just a few examples of projects in which mixed media can be used. This artistic style dates back to the cubist creations of Pablo Picasso from 1912 to 1914, the root of the term itself, in its aesthetic sense, goes back to the artist Jean Dubuffet in the 1950s.

Description
First attempt in the style of Modigliani. Something disturbing happened with the blue/purple background. The lips, the eyes, the earrings and the prism around the neck had to be covered but I chose to leave it as is because a powerful harmony is born which means that the character has become inseparable from its setting. So I left to paint several versions, being too afraid of damaging this one.
