Mixed media includes all works of art that incorporate a variety of materials and components in a single piece. Mixed media art is a work of art that combines acrylic paint with fabric and paper. Scrapbooking, sketchbooks, decoupage, greeting card design, and mixed media art journals are just a few examples of projects in which mixed media can be used. This artistic style dates back to the cubist creations of Pablo Picasso from 1912 to 1914, the root of the term itself, in its aesthetic sense, goes back to the artist Jean Dubuffet in the 1950s.

Ce tableau fait partie de la "suite méditerranéenne".
Adossées aux collines escarpées se dressent des citadelles aux constructions serrées presque blotties, formant ainsi des blocs...
Il s'agit d'une peinture à l’huile sur toile d'une chromatique chatoyante et saturée souvent non représentative. J'ai voulu rendre cet aspect de forteresse dans ce paysage urbain où la présence humaine y est invisible mais où l'œil, sous un porche, peut s'introduire et ainsi déambuler dans le labyrinthe.
