Discover the contemporary work of DYASMINES

Jasmine was born in Paris in 1957. As a child she was already very much attracted to to drawing, and then to painting. She studied in Paris and started worling in the pharmaceutical industry in 1978 as a secretary and the as a medical visitor.In 1987, she moved to the south of France in Avignon. She lives in L'Isle sur la Sorgue since 1995.It was here she developped a passion for Egyptology and from 1992 to 1996 she took his lessons on ancient Egypt and studied Egyptian hieroglyphics that she learn to draw and to translate.At the same time, she began to paint in a private workshop for 3 years, which allowed her to sharpen her outlook on the word. She exposed a certain number of her works ans developed her style until she finally turned toward the abstract.Then she was attracted by occidentale calligraphy and praticed during 4 years, and also chineese and japoneese calligraphy.Several voyages to Polynesia helped her to discover the colors and the shapes of the underwater marine life. This was for her a real revelation.
