This artistic style dates back to the cubist creations of Pablo Picasso from 1912 to 1914, the root of the term itself, in its aesthetic sense, goes back to the artist Jean Dubuffet in the 1950s.

Quand je commence à travailler, je n'ai pas de plan précis. En utilisant ce qui est à portée de main - peinture, encre, pastel, fusain, sable, feuilles - le subconscient ouvre la voie. L'intuition et l'expérimentation me guident et ce n'est qu'alors, que je réalise de quoi parle cette peinture.
