Mixed media includes all works of art that incorporate a variety of materials and components in a single piece. Mixed media art is a work of art that combines acrylic paint with fabric and paper. Scrapbooking, sketchbooks, decoupage, greeting card design, and mixed media art journals are just a few examples of projects in which mixed media can be used. This artistic style dates back to the cubist creations of Pablo Picasso from 1912 to 1914, the root of the term itself, in its aesthetic sense, goes back to the artist Jean Dubuffet in the 1950s.

Description
Nativity is a work resulting from a deep reflection on the rebirth of women who have suffered a sexual crime. It tells the story of the reconstruction of a body after the crime. The white canvas (90/80) was not prepared voluntarily to highlight the raw side. The oil paint was worked and diluted with glaze in order to show the transparency, the ghostly side after such an act.
