De la voute céleste à la terre (Vendu)

Techniques: inks and acrylics on canvas. In this series of 100x100 cm paintings, I explore symbolist tools such as the compass, the square and the plumb line. I use dark colors, shades of blue, abstract backgrounds and touches of calligraphy to bring these instruments to life. For me, the compass symbolizes measurement and infinity, with its precise curves evoking harmony. The square, with its straight lines and right angles, represents stability and order. The plumb line, suspended delicately, illustrates gravity and verticality, inviting reflection on balance. The calligraphic elements present in my works are a kind of mantra, tirelessly repeating the same text. These texts provide a meditative dimension and visual depth, guiding the eye through each painting and reinforcing the themes of contemplation and repetition.
