Jean -Bernard Blaise is a contemporary artist from Baden in Morbihan.

From the age of 9, by taking his first drawing and painting lessons in his town, he demonstrated his passion for art. an innate passion for pictorial art which pushed him to pursue his career. à develop your skills and know-how.  

Over the years, he has developed his own artistic style, skillfully mixing traditional and contemporary techniques. His work is characterized by a harmonious combination of abstract and figurative elements.

Jean Bernard Blaise began his career as an apprentice in a renowned painting workshop. working with master craftsmen and decorative painters where he met Jean Sablé in 2001; painter and best worker of France 2000. He is invited to à study for 3 years in your local school Versailles where he perfected his technical skills and explored various painting techniques.

His experience allowed him to develop his own identity. distinct artistic.

The paintings of Jean Bernard Blaise are distinguished by the use of bright and bold colors mixing decorative painting techniques (fake wood, fake marble) traditional painting techniques (acrylic and oil) as well as ancestral techniques (casein, lime, pigment powder) to create unique paintings.

As an artist Jean Bernard Blaise highlights this know-how in order to show his different techniques and possibilities to create works that capture the eye and create ;deep emotions.

His career as a painter since 1997 as an apprentice, employee, craftsman, art craftsman and then artist has led him to his career as a painter. work on different media and use many painting techniques. The artistic work of Jean-Bernard Blaise takes its source from the foundations of his professional and personal experience. A native of the Gulf of Morbihan, he showed a passion for pictorial art at a very young age and developed his know-how through his work. through his studies and experience. After starting After studying the navy, passion caught up with him and he began studying to be a painter, a profession that never leaves him and which he continues to develop.

Lulled by the maritime scents of his childhood, going from the banks of the Gulf of Morbihan to the summers spent abroad. working on fishing boats with his father.

J-B BLAISE addresses several themes. With its favorite theme which is naturally the sea, the banks of the golf course and Breton maritime ambiances. For him, this theme is a means of expression and escape which transports him mentally to a new world. inside these paintings.

He also creates portraits which for him are the very expression of the most demanding work of pictorial art. The pencil line requires considerable rigor and painting with light and shadow with impeccable coercion.

His abstract work created by in acrylic with knives and brushes is the subject of a search for aesthetics on shapes, backgrounds, patinas and on the harmony of colors.

His work as a decorative painter and decorator led him to his career. tackle different techniques, ranging from figurative to the abstract, through the semi-figurative highlighting intensities of color in order to add pep to today's modern interiors, thus enhancing the harmony and making the link between walls and furniture.

-In a figurative way most often incorporating perspectives and imitations of wood and maritime landscapes made in acrylic.

-In a semi-figurative and abstract way on most often very colorful backgrounds working with brushes, knives showing sailboat and modern urbanization on a maritime background, but also on the basis of shortcut techniques ;a work for which the artist allows himself total freedom. of color incorporating its different themes sometimes even in a very subtle way made in acrylic and wood. oil.

- Also highlighting yesterday's techniques for today's decorations and paintings such as these sometimes almost forgotten techniques that these engravings coat with. lime and natural pigments called sgraffito which connect these three figurative themes, porte and abstract.
