Description
In this work, Johanna Lisa sketches the shapes of winter by playing with movement. The whites which stand out in contrast with the darker unfigured areas, energize the work and give it its voluptuous side. The bitter winter is softened by the back and forth of the gaze which rests on one corner of the painting then on the other. The movement thus depicted seizes our imagination, leading it ever further into escape.
