Mixed technique

Mixed media includes all works of art that incorporate a variety of materials and components in a single piece. Mixed media art is a work of art that combines acrylic paint with fabric and paper. Scrapbooking, sketchbooks, decoupage, greeting card design, and mixed media art journals are just a few examples of projects in which mixed media can be used. This artistic style dates back to the cubist creations of Pablo Picasso from 1912 to 1914, the root of the term itself, in its aesthetic sense, goes back to the artist Jean Dubuffet in the 1950s.

Description
Oil on linen canvas 146 x 89..."I don't paint what I see, I paint what I think" I appropriated this reflection from Picasso because his imagination triggers the emotions necessary for creativity. Reality does not interest me, I like this freedom to perceive and express one's truth on the canvas which patiently waits for the unsuspected to happen.
