Mixed media includes all works of art that incorporate a variety of materials and components in a single piece. Mixed media art is a work of art that combines acrylic paint with fabric and paper. Scrapbooking, sketchbooks, decoupage, greeting card design, and mixed media art journals are just a few examples of projects in which mixed media can be used. This artistic style dates back to the cubist creations of Pablo Picasso from 1912 to 1914, the root of the term itself, in its aesthetic sense, goes back to the artist Jean Dubuffet in the 1950s.

La technique utilisée est le "Dot Painting" ou "Pointillisme". Cette technique est inspirée de l'art aborigène australien. Cela consiste à créer des œuvres exclusivement à partir de points. C'est un travail de patience :-)
Ce tableau fait appel à plusieurs sens : la vue, évidemment, mais aussi le toucher : en passant la main sur le tableau on peut ainsi avoir l'impression de toucher des centaines de petites perles.
Ce tableau peut être encadré mais il est possible de l'accrocher tel quel, les bords sont peints.
Les couleurs peuvent légèrement différer selon le réglage de votre ordinateur.
Pensez à regarder les photos en gros plan pour mieux voir les couleurs et les détails.
