This artistic style dates back to the cubist creations of Pablo Picasso from 1912 to 1914, the root of the term itself, in its aesthetic sense, goes back to the artist Jean Dubuffet in the 1950s.

"metaphysical forms"

This series is my first attempt at a succession of paintings on the same theme.
Metaphysics
Definition :
Science of primary truths, knowledge of being (spirit, psyche, god?) and essential causes.
Boris Cyrulnik, psychologist author and speaker, speaks of metaphysics as a search of human beings to explain death and what happens to us afterwards.
Through spiritual or religious or even supernatural means we seek to give meaning to the afterlife, to reassure ourselves, by pure conviction or by daydreaming.
In this series of paintings I illustrate my questions about the possibility of the existence of an "etheric body" a consciousness made up of energy from the universe which survives us after the decline of the physical body.
