Mixed media includes all works of art that incorporate a variety of materials and components in a single piece. Mixed media art is a work of art that combines acrylic paint with fabric and paper. Scrapbooking, sketchbooks, decoupage, greeting card design, and mixed media art journals are just a few examples of projects in which mixed media can be used. This artistic style dates back to the cubist creations of Pablo Picasso from 1912 to 1914, the root of the term itself, in its aesthetic sense, goes back to the artist Jean Dubuffet in the 1950s.

Description
Aquarelle réalisée pour mon livre paru aux éditions Ulisse : "Ma méthode d'aquarelle jusqu'au bout du pinceau." Elle a été choisi pour faire la couverture de l'ouvrage. Le choix du bleu comme tonalité principale pour une approche un peu différente de ce que l'on voit, dans des copies très figuratives du paysage. L'aquarelle a été réalisée sur du papier arches, dans une technique mouillé, réhausseur par des détails secs mais fondus.
