Né à Paris and high between Lyon and Cayenne (French Guiana), Philippe Efe grew up among the working classes of these two cities. His grandmother, an employee of the Museum of Fine Arts in Lyon, introduced him to the artistic field from a very young age. It is also influenced by very early on through the work of her aunt, a painter using paint. natural materials.  Philippe Efe evolves at a high level through various emancipation movements, particularly within post-BLM conversations. It was only from 2021 that he created his first digital drawings in order to occupy this period of confinement. His current work seeks to evoke the reminiscences of one's family heritage as well as the popular influences linked to his generation.

Philippe Efe is a self-taught visual artist who draws his inspiration from books, his thoughts and nature.
