Mixed media includes all works of art that incorporate a variety of materials and components in a single piece. Mixed media art is a work of art that combines acrylic paint with fabric and paper. Scrapbooking, sketchbooks, decoupage, greeting card design, and mixed media art journals are just a few examples of projects in which mixed media can be used. This artistic style dates back to the cubist creations of Pablo Picasso from 1912 to 1914, the root of the term itself, in its aesthetic sense, goes back to the artist Jean Dubuffet in the 1950s.

Description
I created a work (150x250cm table with steel base) which is an artistic representation of the Olympic rings. Each ring, unique in its size and shapes, is not monochrome, but decorated with each of the five Olympic colors. The idea is that each continent, depending on its strengths and weaknesses, can identify with one ring and then another throughout history. Finally, the structure of this table can only be stable through the asymmetrical compensation of the forces of the 5 rings that compose it, and especially through this upper ring which supports a glass top symbolizing the fragility of world harmony. This table which represents more than 800 hours of work was exhibited for the passage of the flame. This copy will remain unique, however I intend to decline its design in 23 other copies all unique also by the luxurious surface treatment they will receive.
