“The anchored eye”, acrylic on linen canvas, 100x81x2cm. It all started when I started painting this eye for a friend. He wanted a blue background but my intuition kept telling me “brown background like the ground”. I put a brown background and it was no longer an eye for my friend.Be grounded, create roots in who you are and what you do. It is the base of everything.
