Mixed media includes all works of art that incorporate a variety of materials and components in a single piece. Mixed media art is a work of art that combines acrylic paint with fabric and paper. Scrapbooking, sketchbooks, decoupage, greeting card design, and mixed media art journals are just a few examples of projects in which mixed media can be used. This artistic style dates back to the cubist creations of Pablo Picasso from 1912 to 1914, the root of the term itself, in its aesthetic sense, goes back to the artist Jean Dubuffet in the 1950s.

Description
This is a unique oil painting on canvas, it is a "vanitas" with a symbolic style composed of a choice of bright and orange colors contrasted by cooler colors. My wish is to show a painting which creates unease and fascination in the viewer because it represents our relationship to the passing of time, hence the skeleton which announces the end with its drum and the passage of a vivid era of our life towards its decline as for the female character, she represents the idea of learning leading to wisdom before the fateful hour. The snake would have a slightly more biblical theme, it would be the temptation which leads to its end or the end of sexuality after a certain age. This painting therefore invites the viewer to question their relationship with time and to constantly seek wisdom throughout their existence.
