WHAT WOOD?
Iceland is known to be a country without forests - which is not entirely true (but it is really a country without trains, an army, McDonald's or billboards in public spaces - and this without me being able to attest to any link between these oddities). In short, a country supposedly without forests when they covered about a third of the territory before human settlement around the 9th century.
