Jousse Entreprise
The Jousse Entreprise gallery is distinguished by its dual identity: a gallery of architectural furniture from the mid-20th century (Prouvé, Perriand, Matégot, Jeanneret, etc.) at 18 rue de Seine in Saint-Germain and an art gallery contemporary located rue Saint Claude in the Marais. Jousse Entreprise is the only gallery in the world that is developing an ambitious program in both the field of furniture and contemporary art. She does this off the beaten track, favoring in-depth work with demanding artists and creators. This work involves in particular the production of works and the organization of the first ambitious monographic exhibitions, such as that of Simon Martin. It is supplemented by participation in international fairs and exhibitions, both in the field of furniture and contemporary art. Represented here are internationally renowned artists, such as Tim Eitel, Seulgi Lee (Korean Artist Prize 2020), Atelier Van Lieshout, Elisabetta Benassi (Venice Biennale 2011, 2013 and 2015), as well as more emerging artists, such as Nathanaëlle Herbelin , Simon Martin, or even Eva Nielsen. The contemporary art gallery also stands out for its artistic line in favor of video art, notably through the works of Anne-Charlotte Finel, Louidgi Beltrame, Clarisse Hahn and Ange Leccia.
