In the heart of the city, the museum of Sérignan, opened on September 23, 2006, is dedicated to art now. Symbol of the cultural dynamism of the city, it's the first contemporary art museum in Hérault. On about 2500 square meters, the museum presents his permanent collection (Abstract Landscape, Conceptual Art, Support/Surfaces, Narrative Figuration, New artistic scene?) mainly funded on artists donations, and temporary exhibitions. In different spaces, it gives an easy access to works: graphics room, exhibitions spaces, video room, experimental showcase, library lounge, and bookshop. Open from 10 am to 6 pm, except Monday and legal holiday. Price: 5 ? full ticket, 3? reduce ticket. Guided tour: all Saturday at 3pm - and for the summer all Wednesday at 11am. Guided tour for groups with appointment (reduce ticket for more than 15 persons).
