URDLA

URDLA, or “Centre International Estampe & Livre”, is a cultural entity located in Villeurbanne, France. Established in 1978, this institution serves as both an artist's studio and an exhibition gallery, with a particular emphasis on printmaking and artist's books. Its mission is to celebrate and disseminate the art of engraving in all its expressions. For this, URDLA offers specialized workshops in lithography, intaglio, intaglio, and typography, where artists can explore both ancient and modern techniques. In addition to its role as a studio, URDLA also acts as an exhibition space, presenting work produced on site as well as that of invited artists.
