The Metamorphoses "Revelation
The work of yours that you would take to a desert island shown and commented in a few words
If I were to take a canvas to a desert island it would be raw, to be conceived, to be created... to be painted because I could devote myself fully to it and try to reach the absolute.
My goal is to penetrate the Mystery of "The Painting".
To create an inhabited work of art where content and form are combined and which contains an immaterial part in itself.
The greatest works are those which, despite repeated viewing, retain their own mystery. To observe, to contemplate a work of art and to note that, like a being, it preserves its part of the unknown, its own existence, a living, inhabited work, outside of fashion, outside of context, outside of time.
Painting is not an end in itself, it is a quest.
