Idée fausse :
Le monde sous-marin, le monde du silence...est un monde bruyant !
Il y a de plus en plus de boucan, fait par tous genres de moteurs (dont des milliers de porte-conteneurs), les travaux sous-marins (recherche et extraction des gisements de pétrole et de gaz, installation d'éoliennes, usines marémotrices etc..). Les conséquences sur la faune marine sont lourdes : Les ultrasons et les sonars perturbent également la communication entre les espèces. De graves lésions de l'appareil auditif sont aussi constatées, parfois mortelles. Perte des repères, impossibilité de retrouver ses congénères (notamment pour la reproduction), peurs paniques, désorientations etc...
