This artistic style dates back to the cubist creations of Pablo Picasso from 1912 to 1914, the root of the term itself, in its aesthetic sense, goes back to the artist Jean Dubuffet in the 1950s.

Description
POLYPE is a textile work, made from lace, which is part of the UTERUS artistic project. The latter is a symbolic organ and a field of multiple social, cultural and economic issues throughout the history of life. POLYPE is an outgrowth of the Uterus and poetically evokes the fragility and strength of the female body. Lace, a material traditionally associated with the feminine, reinforces this symbolic dimension.
