Model from the film "Machete". I was enchanted by this photo when I discovered it, and I painted it in my own way, by stripping her naked. There is something of the forbidden and the deadly sins that I wanted to amplify: the gold leaf placed behind her and the jewel she holds for greed, the tongue languorously licking the revolver reminds me of a form of gluttony, the famous revolver inspires in me a vengeance through jealousy or anger, the bare breast represents lust. This is not a blasphemous painting. Indeed, I did not represent a Virgin Mary or a Saint, just a woman who chose to enter the orders and who reminds us that every human being can be weak. The necklace she holds in her hands is decorated with 2 pendants: an eye of Saint Lucia, a lucky shell in Corsica, and a branch of coral that keeps the evil eye away. In the evening, the gold leaf lights up with the lights on, and the nun stands out divinely.
