Mixed media includes all works of art that incorporate a variety of materials and components in a single piece. Mixed media art is a work of art that combines acrylic paint with fabric and paper. Scrapbooking, sketchbooks, decoupage, greeting card design, and mixed media art journals are just a few examples of projects in which mixed media can be used. This artistic style dates back to the cubist creations of Pablo Picasso from 1912 to 1914, the root of the term itself, in its aesthetic sense, goes back to the artist Jean Dubuffet in the 1950s.

Description
Dance video - 2013 - color - 5’10´´
Video selected in the FiArt-Spain video dance competition, which produced a traveling program for different European countries with the selected videos. The dance video selected on this occasion: Disappearance, addresses the question of the loss of certain references or certain pillars which maintain and guide our daily lives. This loss provokes a moment of transformation and rethinking of our life project, as well as our vision of the world. This theme is presented through a metaphorical work, where the video image exposes the moment of fracture, and after disappearance, of the usually central supports of our body: the feet.
