Description
This collage explores the tensions between the real and the imaginary, the everyday and the dream. The superpositions of crumpled and torn papers, combined with fragments of figurative images such as an old photograph of an American house or the addition of a San Francisco tram ticket, create a visual dialogue between order and chaos, between memory and abstraction. The raw textures of the wrapping papers and the bursts of bright colors contrast with the more neutral black and white of the figurative elements. These oppositions question the relationship between fragility and richness. The abstract papers and formal ruptures open the space to free interpretations, inviting the viewer to construct their own narrative.
