Mixed media includes all works of art that incorporate a variety of materials and components in a single piece. Mixed media art is a work of art that combines acrylic paint with fabric and paper. Scrapbooking, sketchbooks, decoupage, greeting card design, and mixed media art journals are just a few examples of projects in which mixed media can be used. This artistic style dates back to the cubist creations of Pablo Picasso from 1912 to 1914, the root of the term itself, in its aesthetic sense, goes back to the artist Jean Dubuffet in the 1950s.

Description
Engraving on wood and metal. bi-color. Print obtained with a single pass through the intaglio press. I use printing processes that are not specific to the traditional way learned at school. I also work with painting and make mobile sculptures in wood and metal. My website: www.velascoualde.com
