Description
I experiment and, in an outpouring of mixed techniques, undertake to create textured paintings for a multi-sensory experience. An art for all that even the blind could touch. A tactile exploration that then becomes the spearhead of my practice and encourages me to organize my creations into "rivers" that mimic distinct sections of biomes. Thus, the grasping of the work is accessible because it is compartmentalized.
I then use a relic that I saw being passed around me during my carefree years: hair extensions. Through them, I create the aqueous overflow. These extensions become the real counterpart of the water that emancipates itself from my paintings. A trompe-oeil thus induces a relay between the dynamic scenography of the painted water and its overflow that rebels in capillary spurs in the same style. Regarding the use of oysters and shellfish, I use the adage that shellfish relay the sounds of the sea.
