Description
The Saga of the White Elephant is a piece inspired by the world of oriental miniatures. The white elephant, symbol of happiness, is represented in three ages of life. The landscape is colorful and shimmering and several small universes coexist. It is a bright and warm world that encourages daydreaming. The viewer can look for numerous "details" that make up the entire painting. The artist has mounted paper of his own making, cyanotype, cocoon silk, etc. on the canvas to then create the drawings with inks.The canvas is made on a cotton canvas of 330 grams per m².
